Hello there! My name is Harris, and I am a 24-year-old freelance video and motion graphics editor based in Edinburgh.
I have always had a love for storytelling, and it was this passion that drove me to pursue a degree in film from Edinburgh Napier University. My time at university not only honed my technical skills but also provided me with a platform to explore different forms of storytelling, including documentaries and short films. It was during this time that I discovered my talent for video editing and motion graphics.
Since graduating, I have had the opportunity to work with some well recognised companies in the industry, including the BBC, Heinz, Total Energies, Sumdog, Bloc Collective and Arms and Legs. My work with these companies has allowed me to refine my skills and develop a keen eye for detail, ensuring that each project I work on is delivered to the highest standard.
As a video and motion graphics editor, I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Davinci Resolve, and have experience with AVID and Final Cut Pro. Whether it's a showreel, company video, charity video, short film or documentary, I approach every project with the same level of dedication, creativity, and attention to detail.
One of the things I love most about my work is the ability to bring stories to life through visual storytelling. I am constantly on the lookout for new and innovative ways to convey messages, evoke emotions, and captivate audiences through my work. Whether it's through animation, motion graphics, or creative editing, I believe that there is no limit to what can be achieved through video.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and my work. If you have a project in mind, I would love to hear from you and explore how I can help bring your vision to life through video.
